JOB DESCRIPTION:

Follow Lean manufacturing principles and maintain a high-quality standard to maximize capability and productivity.
Perform machine set-ups and complete First Articles as needed.
Inspect and measure parts for accuracy and conformance to product specifications.
Follow standard works i.e. standard sequence, standard in-process stock, critical knowledge, etc. to ensure product is on target and on time.
Monitors processes and performs continuous image inspections and visual quality checks of the products to ensure acceptance standards are met.
Cross-train on multiple pieces of equipment and processes to maximize capabilities and productivity.
Participate in continuous improvement events that improve the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing process.
Maintains a clean and safe work area 5s. Understands department workflow, processes & detail-oriented.

REQUIREMENTS:

3-5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment. Programming experience a plus
Experience training other peers utilizing a standard training format.
High level of attention to detail and focus on quality.
Experience in troubleshooting machine and equipment problems with experience in operator lead maintenance is a plus.
Experience using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, gauges, and electronic indicators, etc.
At least 18 years old
Able to pass a Drug Test **
