JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Follow Lean manufacturing principles and maintain a high-quality standard to maximize capability and productivity.
  • Perform machine set-ups and complete First Articles as needed.
  • Inspect and measure parts for accuracy and conformance to product specifications.
  • Follow standard works i.e. standard sequence, standard in-process stock, critical knowledge, etc. to ensure product is on target and on time.
  • Monitors processes and performs continuous image inspections and visual quality checks of the products to ensure acceptance standards are met.
  • Cross-train on multiple pieces of equipment and processes to maximize capabilities and productivity.
  • Participate in continuous improvement events that improve the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing process.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work area 5s. Understands department workflow, processes & detail-oriented.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3-5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment. Programming experience a plus
  • Experience training other peers utilizing a standard training format.
  • High level of attention to detail and focus on quality.
  • Experience in troubleshooting machine and equipment problems with experience in operator lead maintenance is a plus.
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, gauges, and electronic indicators, etc.
  • At least 18 years old
  • Able to pass a Drug Test **
  • The acceptable outcome of a Background Check
